چکیده

Objective. To study the effectiveness of high tibial osteotomy (HTO) in treatment for 2–3 stage osteoarthritis knee. Materials and methods . Over 2015–2022 period, 56 surgeries using HTO were performed 49 patients with knee stages at Vladivostok Clinical City Hospital No. 2. Biplanar was above tuberosity. Locking compression plates used fixation. The results assessed according to Lysholm Knee Score VAS. Results. follow-up 37 monitored up 5 years. Deformity correction revealed each case. indicated a persistent reduction mean values VAS scale from 1.1 2.7, as well significant improvement clinical functional characteristics joint Score. In years after procedure, survival rate comprised 100%. Conclusion. High is complex procedure requiring long-term training considerable experience surgeon, proper assessment indications, meticulous preoperative planning, adherence surgical techniques. demonstrate that delay arthroplasty feasible.

Conversion Total Knee Arthroplasty after Failed High Tibial Osteotomy

Clinical results of high tibial osteotomy (HTO) deteriorate over time despite the initial satisfactory results. Several knees may require a conversion to total knee arthroplasty (TKA) because of failure such as the progression of degenerative osteoarthritis and the loss of the correction angle. It is important to know the long-term survival rate and common reason of failure in HTO to inform pat...
